coated steel cable

Does anyone know where I can buy some of this? You know, it's like the stuff cable padlock cords are made of.

I am thinking of using it as a deck railing. I am looking for galvanized or stainless 1/8" cable coated to 3/16" or so.

I have found some places on line but they want $$$. I'm sure there has to be a place locally to buy it buy the roll and put the ends yourself, I just don't know where to look. I figure I need around 150' or so.

Any ideas would be helpful!

I just saw some last night at Home Depot. I am not certain it was coated, but it looked like it was. I would imagine about any home improvement store would have it, but I do not know what the cost would be. It has got to be better than paying for shipping though :greg:
