The Uncompahgre field office of the BLM is currently seeking public scoping comments for the addition of 34 miles of single track motorcycle trail outside Norwood, Colorado. Given the limited opportunity for motorized single track in Colorado, this project would provide a significant increase in this opportunity. Your comments in support for this project are needed!

Comment Deadline: On or before Friday, September 21, 2012

Proposal highlights

The project would create 34 miles of multiple use singletrack in the burn canyon area, one small trailhead and 2 small parking areas.

This project is in the scoping phase so specific details are limited but more information on this proposal is available here
