Depends on the price and intended use (and mobo) If you want the ultimate in fast, AMD is not it right now.

That is what I was thinking. They are good parts, but not the latest and greatest. If you are buying a used computer for a few hundred it is probalby a good deal, but it is no LS1, atlas, D60, cromoly tube buggy. More of well.. a 85 Blue 4 runner

that computer, depending soley on prices the day the components were bought, is $500-$1,200 from newegg (assuming the AMD x2 is the the newer AM2 processor and not an older 740 or 939 processor)

i'm not saying it couldn't be had for cheaper than what I stated but that it was the likely rate for what the specs of the machine are if you were to order the components yourself
