glock geek hell no, the grip is too angled for me. the berretta i fired had a couple safety's on it. automatic trigger safety so you had to hold the safety with your finger every time you wanted to fire (so get used to using your middle finger to pull the trigger), slide safety, and grip safety. if you go to pull your weapon in a life or death situation do you wanna accidentily not put your finger on that automatic trigger safety and be unable to fire?
nice meat, pretty low hit to make right off the bat.
i'll take a 1911 as my favorite, argentinian has only the basic trigger safety. been around a fair amount of guns but by no means an expert.
Ummmm Spenc was way meaner than I was.
Sounds like the Beretta you shot was broken. Which model was it?
The 92's and 96's have an on/off saftey, except for the GOV models which have no safety, only a decocker.

I am on Berettas website right now and I can't find anything like what you are describing...hmm, then why dont you go to the only shooting range in midland texas and check out the berretta's that they have. they all have those safety's i listed, and thats been my experiance with berretta's.
