Contact to help to set up a 501 (c)(3)

So I looks like I am getting the opportunity to run a local youth sports organization and realize to be eligible for corporate sponsors I need to get it set up as a non-profit.

Anyone do this kind of thing or have a contact who does this?

Any advice for a guy heading down this road? (Besides run!)

I can tell you it’s a LOT of paperwork, and NOT a fast process. That’s not much help though, sorry. We did this several years ago for our military history organization, but my partner did the bulk of the work so I’m not much help.

I was on the U4WDA board a decade ago when we did this. But I wasn't much part of the paperwork. Maybe try Big Sarge Matt Westrich
