I know how bad it would suck for that to happen on your project . . . but . . .

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!

I can't believe that with all that water rushing into the pit, that the crane remained upright.
It's an impressive testament to the strength of the crane that it survived that deluge.

I wonder who the civil engineering dumb funk was on that one! That has got to be over 100’, and they expected the dinky concrete wall to hold that back? Especially with that much width exposure! It’s amazing they got it that deep/exposed before it blew!

Notice that boat, not too far down channel … bet he got a thrill.

I'd love to know the time difference between the first two photos and the 3rd. My guess ... less than 1 hour.

Where they show us the water leaking through and the pump is located isn't where the wall caved in.
Look at the first pic with the pump down in the lower left hand corner, notice the job site offices on the other side of the wall? now look at the pic where the water is rushing in. Not the same place.

This doesn't change the fact that someone REALLY screwed the pooch on this one for sure.

It kind of looks like the water is runnnig along the wall from the right and, just drops off where the pump is.

They must have gotten the trailers out of there.
