Does anyone have any GPS coordinates for the route that connects eva connover trail to devil's racetrack in the swell? I have it mapped out on google maps, but I'd love some GPS coordinates. Thanks.

ok, good. I found a route on google earth and I can find a way to connect the two, but it's always good to have a gps backup of a proven route. Now that I know it's so well marked, I should be ok. Thanks Kurt. Tom Blair said he had a blast this past weekend in the swell.

This doesn't look quite the same as others' maps. I'm sure it'll make more sense when I'm out there.

Your map shows a connection between the two trails that simply doesn't exist for 4x4 traffic.

This is the day 1 map my pal JH created for our event last weekend:

cool, thanks Kurt. I can't quite make my google earth map match that, but since you say it's well marked I won't worry. How long does that loop typically take to complete? Assuming no stops, would that be 6 hours, or 2, or 12?

Depends how much stopping you do as there are quite a few things to see along the way. Minimum 3-4 with a fast moving group, maximum 10 with a big slow moving group. With ~20 vehicles we've done that loop in ~8 hours.
