Hey for everyone who cares we had fun at the dunes without you. Also some crazy guy in a TJ showed up and showed us how to wheel. Here are a few pics. The sand had a slight sciff of snow and it was great for cuttin a shiner and spinning around etc etc... PS MORE PICTURES LATER I AM TIRED

Enjoy.

Dude - I'm totally bummed I missed this run. Almost as bummed as I am about locking up my rear end on the friday night before a killer saturday run... AAARRRRGGHHHHH..... :mad2:

I guess this does give me an excuse to install the Lincoln locker in the rear and put the rear lock-rite in the front...

I am not crazy... I take the right pills every day.

And that's an XJ.

Cool pics. Wish I had brought a camera. Really looking forward to seeing the nite-crawlin' pics!

That was an excellent time!

I'm curious if anyone could make it up the hill at lamb springs (third picture on the top row) That is hard to climb on a motorcylce - when its dry.

It is? What kinda bike you ridin'?

Yeah, I know, I know - it must be slow. Its a '84 XR 500. I've got 3 brothers with mid-'90 XR 600's (all stock) and none of us make it up easily.

With the ruts at the bottom, its kinda hard to get a run at it.

Of course its been a few years since I've been there on a bike.

I would imagine it would take a newer 4-stroke, or a 2 stroke to do it easily.

But I am getting old I guess. :D

Well the sand rattled off on the way home but the mud at the staging area was quite sticky. I was in the snow East of Zion National park last night (33 inches) and all the rain we have had took care of the mud. So I guess I will made it through last year and didn't have to wash my rig. I put up some pics this was on the road to the cabin. Lets say chains are your best freind it that cold crap.
