I've been suffering coyote hunting withdrawl.
So, I made a few stands this morning. Called in six coyotes. Only carried my camera though, no rifle. Got a couple pictures worth keeping. But this one turned out pretty cool, I think. Except I was just a hair too fast on the shutter (actually, I was shooting a burst, but...). Tenth of a second later and I'd have got a picture of the coyote biting the caller. Have seen that happen quite a few times and even got it on video a couple times way back in the day (pre HD). But this is the first time I've got a good clear high res image of a coyote hitting the FoxPro.
Something to look at and keep my happy until the weather cools off a bit more and I stop just counting coup on them...
