I know the folk.

When I went to work for the NSA, my first week on the job I heard about the resident "cat lady". People said terrible things about her. I decided that I would give her the benefit of the doubt and wait to see for myself.

After a couple of weeks I moved to the night shift and had my first experience with her. She came to ask a couple of questions about some work that I had been doing. In an attempt to be nice, I complimented her on the nice quilt that she had draped around her body (at work?). She replied, "Thanks, my cats gave it to me."

Anyway, this lady worked the night shift only. She had the lights removed from her office because she was "allergic" to light. She collected and stored thousands (no joke) of those Kinder chocolate toys from Germany all over her office until she was forced to remove them by our department head. I guess all the rumors were true, the cat lady was a weirdo. Guess 20 years working the night shift in a windowless building will do that to you...

Do your cats quilt? Just wondering.
