Creative Action Packer mounts?

After seeing this video, all sorts of ideas are bouncing around in my head.

I know of one or two others on here who have some similar mounting systems. Anyone else have any ingenious mounting solutions for an action packer? These are awesome, but at $125, I'm going to build my own. SWAG offroad does make some fantastic products though. I can see a brake and a portaband stand v.4 in my future.

For the time, material and effort you'd put into a similar mount, I think the $125 price tag is very reasonable...

The one thing I really don't like about these is that they need to be firmly mounted to something... i.e. not something you can move/reposition easily. Not always feasable in a camping rig. Obviously in a buggy or dedicated wheeler it's a different story.

Agreed. Plus it makes the quick and easy access less quick and easy
Swag makes some killer stuff for sure.

are there quick releases available for these? like a rail that these can slip onto? id love to get a couple for the bed of my MJ, but would like to easily remove them so i can switch back to 'pickup truck' mode quickly.
