tell me what you guys think of my site...I've been working on it for a few days now and I'm wondering what you guys think...so let me have it :D

I want to know what you think about the design and functionality of the whole thing. What renders weird or loads weird on your browser, etc. I know when using Safari browser the header is different colors.

(just ignore the content :D)

FWIW, the main page will be getting a make-over soon I just need to figure out what I am going to stick there :D (ideas are welcomed ;) )

the empty basket on the front page looks like it has a 80's style square around it (because it does). Make it a transparent background to break that look up. And put some garbage in there, it looks better with the paper. Maybe try a bananna peel or other items like computer parts. As long as it does not look cheesy. An old monitor sitting in the top of the can, too large to fit inside???

in IE6 I see the square, in firefox I don't see the square. Sounds like you don't care about the basket anyays for now. the rest looks good, simple, easy, clean, colors go well.

The problem with the box is that in your code you have a "<th" and it should be a "<td" as you start your table cell. See if that works is all of browsers

hmmm, when I changed it to <td it moved everything to the left (yes I closed it with the correct tag too :D </td> )

With FireFox 1.0.5 and Netscape 8 it looks great.
I get the box with IE 6.
Here is a screen shot from my IE 6 sp2.

those that were seeing the square before try it now, I colored the background the same as the body background instead of haiving it transparent. I also added more "junk" to the trash can :D

Not quite the right color. I still see a blue box now.

One more critique. Some people are still on 800 * 600 believe it or not. Best practice is to develop a site for 800*600 that still works in larger sizes. All you need to do is remove some spaces to bring your basket and enter up a little higher and you will fit perfect in 800*600 and still look fine in the larger sizes.
