Yes, there will be camping available on the site as well as trail rides on Friday and Sunday. I'll be out there all 3 days. Be sure to register for the event on the website cruiserfest.com

Interesting.

So it's $25 a head for spectators, but you can sell stuff at the swap meet, but not drive on the course? Heh, I won Best Toyota in Show, does that count? hahha

I guess I see the point, but the website's not real clear on whether that's per day, or not. If it gets me in to the Lucas race too, and I can sell all this Toyota stuff here, yee ha, but kind of a big change from last year. *shrug

anyway. Saw the blurb on KSL tonight about the Lucas race, and heard mention of CruiserFest and the upcoming Ultra4 race. :D woo hoo

Kurt,
Thanks for posting up, but this is still very confusing.

Is there an extra charge for camping?

Hookups?

Does the fee include all weekend admission, or is it per day?

Where are the trail rides?

Many things are very unclear about the event and the options available.

Thanks for any info,

Keith

I was hoping they would refine the details a bit on the website but I'll do my best to answer to be the best of my knowledge...

Trail Ride Details:

Friday - 6/24/11: Rattlesnake Trail in the 5 Mile Pass OHV Area. Join us
on Friday morning for a trail ride in the historic Sunshine Mining area
approximately 30 miles south of the Miller Motorsports Park. We'll do a
bit of light rock-crawling as we work our way up the Rattlesnake Canyon
Trail. Our trail will end at a scenic overlook of the surrounding desert,
passing a few historic mines along the way. Bring a lunch, plenty of water
and be ready for a good time. The trail ride will depart from the Miller
Motorsports Park at 9am Friday morning. Please RSVP with your CruiserFest
registration.

Sunday - 6/26/11: (Two Trail Ride Options)

Rattlesnake Trail in the 5 Mile Pass OHV Area. Join us on Friday morning
for a trail ride in the historic Sunshine Mining area approximately 30
miles south of the Miller Motorsports Park. We'll do a bit of light
rock-crawling as we work our way up the Rattlesnake Canyon Trail. Our
trail will end at a scenic overlook of the surrounding desert, passing a
few historic mines along the way. Bring a lunch, plenty of water and be
ready for a good time. Please RSVP with your CruiserFest registration.

Pony Express. Join us as we retrace the steps of the famous Pony Express
riders through the wilds of Utah's west desert. Our group will visit
several of the Pony Express Stations along the route as well as various
other historic spots in the area. This route is will involve covering long
distances over high-speed dirt roads. Bring a lunch, plenty of water and
be ready to see some of the most remote land in the west. Plan on
approximately 200 miles between fuel stops, returning to Tooele that
evening. Please RSVP with your CruiserFest registration.

Trail rides will be filled by order of your registration and if we don't have enough interest for one trail or the other we will merge or cancel accordingly. Camping will be right in the traditional parking area for the off-road park, so no hookups, no additional cost, etc. Cost is for the 3 day event. If you have any other questions the best bet is to hit them up via the contact page on the site.

I have tickets to the Lucas event or they may be just a weekend pass. My brother in law got them for me, I am wondering will they get me into cruiserfest? And can I still get a shirt? :D Or will I be shunned?

Yup. What question do you have, I may be able to answer...

I think they're mostly covered... I was curious if the entry was for one day or all 3, mainly...

also curious about the swap meet setup... do you get a space assigned or what? I've got a truckload of LC parts, may as well take them in since the space is paid for.

Good, I should be on the payroll :D

It won't be pre-assigned spaces, just an area set aside for the swap meet right adjacent to the vendors area. Everything is focused in one area this year as opposed to the show/shine and dynamic events being a 1/2 mile apart, it should really improve the flow of the event.

Great question, I'll have to ask on that one. I'll be on the ringer with them tomorrow and can clarify.

Just to clarify, I'm helping with the trail rides on Friday and Sunday and will be a vendor on Saturday. While I'm glad to help out where I can I've been getting some calls and emails about the event that would best be directed directly to them @ cruiserfest.com

Had a busy day prepping for CruiserFest, looking forward to seeing everyone out there this weekend. Stop by our vendor booth and check out the latest. Jake, Jason and myself will be there all day Saturday with lots of product, ARB, Trasharoo, fjMount, etc. Wear a Cruiser Outfitters t-shirt and get a special prize!

I think I'll head down. I need a cruiseroutfitters shirt anyway, it'll be a good excuse to get my butt over there.

Can we register on site, or does it have to be online?
