What brand of oil filter are you using and where are you getting it from? Does the local Checker Auto type store carry this stuff? I have been reading and it sounds like Fleetguard is a good brand.

Input?

I usually get mine from Cummins Rockymountain, 23rd south ish 3rd west. They have a good price and I usually get my fuel filters there too.

Sorry can't tell ya the brand...

Cummins intermountain. They are the same filters the dealer sells you, at a fraction of the price. Only the oil filters are painted grey, and say Mopar on them. When you open the box for the fuel filter, the box says Mopar, but the filter says Fleetguard!

Yep.

I usually use Mobil 1 or K&N though Auto Zone has the Mobil 1's for IIRC $12.... I can get the Fleetgaurds for $1 but I still pay $12???

Thanks,

I went down to the "C" and got a Fleetgard. Now I just need to find a large enough container for the old oil.....

oooOOOooo....is this going to be the Delo vs. Rotella arguement? I'm a Delo guy, myself.

I got a 15 quart drain pan at Wally World. It's juuuust big enough for my PSD. Does the Cummins hold more oil or less oil than that?
