I got my '86 CJ-7 off of RME a while ago and its a great ride. The brakes sucked and the MC was leaking a bit so I decided to buy a brand new MC and 9" dual diaphram booster kit for it. Swaped it in there a while ago, blead the hell out of it and it was much better. A few days later the pedal gets soft and I think its just needs to be re-bleed. Take it to my mechanics to get it done due to the lack of time. They blead it many many many times and air still gets back into the system.
I call the company who sold me the kit and they said adjust the rod. Did that, no big help. Call them again and they send me a new MC. It helps a bit but still gets air in it after a while.
The rear brakes are new drums (on the stock D44), the fronts look fine (stock D30). No leaks anywhere! Where the hell am I getting air in the system??????? HELP! This is pissing me off!
