i just bought a 89 jeep wrangler that has a arb in the rear dana 35 my question is? what spline is a stock dana 35 and is the a way to tell if it has a super 35 kit in it with out pulling the shafts? and is the 89 a c clip or a non c-clip axle.

'89 should be a non c-clip style Dana 35. I believe the C-clip style started in 1990. The stock shaft for the Dana 35 should be a 27 spline count.

cool maybe it has upgraded shafts I can only find arb for 30 spline

I am wrong they do make a 27 spline

You should be able to pull the cover and read the arb to see if it is an ARB RD 102 or ARB RD103 which is a 27 spline. Or the RD 105 which is 30 spline or RD125 30 spline non c clip.

the part number on the shafts are p35L406 can you tell by the number I havn't pulled the diff cover yet?

Not a part number I recognize maybe some one else does.

I pulled the diff cover it is the rd 105 so the 30 spline shafts thanks for the help
