Dana 44 60 Front axle

Which axles are the best donors from my TJ. I under stand there is a 60 where you only have to shorten one side.

i have a front 60 from a newer dodge 3/4 it has the spring buckets, but ya i think you have to shorten one side and reweld the spring buckets.


its in the for sale section. with pics if your interested and looking at one that might work.


not trying to jack you thread.... but you can look at the pics and that might help you decide if a 60 or a 44 is better.

uhm no. the spring buckets don't need to be rewelded they need to be completely removed .the diameter of those buckets are twice the size found on a jeep.
