Jeep DEATH WOBBLE!! 2001 jeep WJ

Front end shakes so bad that i have to come to a complete stop for it to qiut! Happens when i hit a bump in the road, or on uneven bumpy roads to. What do i need to replace or fix to solve this problem???

have someone turn your wheel back and forth and look for loose components.

bad trac bar bushings, bad TRE's worn steering stabilizer and even bad control arm bushing will all cause death wobble.

I have always had this be due to the track bar..

what ever you do don't just "fix it with a new steering stabilizer" because that isn't a fix.

If you have a quality track bar setup it will never truly wobble. (although you can get a shimmy from other things...)

^I agree with everything above.

I have seen it from trac bar mostly, alss seperating tire (was only visible form inside), as well a poor caster angle. Pushed caster to high side of spec and it never did it again.

Did it just start doing it? did you change anything on it? steering/wheels/tires/lift ect ?
