Just a thought if you already have the TBI intake and such, would a long block that you put your current set up help?

I would suggest rebuilding yours and upgrading to Vortec heads, but at that price point you might as well find a 5.3!

I have a stock throttle body set up. it came off of a chevy 350. it has the adapter for a carbureted manifold. the harness is still complete and the distributor goes with it.

Yank it out, disassemble it, and get the block, rods, crank, and heads into the machine shop. Then bring it to me and we'll break out the Summit catalog. You'll be pleasantly surprised what that engine is capable of for very little money.

And you dont have to mess with wiring harnesses, oxygen and temperature sensors, etc.. I say you stroke it too.
