Deck over gooseneck trailers

I currently have a 20 foot PJ bumper pull trailer. Works great for a Jeep/car hauler. When I get larger vehicles on it I wish for more room. I love the way a goose handles compared to a bumper pull. So I have been toying with the idea of a gooseneck. I am looking at one big enough to haul two jeeps on. Trailer would have a 5 foot beavertail on it. How hard is it getting regular cars onto the deck(deckover)? Any huge extra fuel increases with the load being that much taller? Just looking general info.

I have a gooseneck deck over that fits two rigs. Mileage drops about 25% going from single car hauler to the raised gooseneck. 15-16 down to 11-12.

The trailer I use has the beaver tail with hard mounted ramps which is nice because it's super stable but some times I wonder what to do with the ramps if I can't put them back down flat.

Usually when i haul two I just make sure I can butt the ramps up against a tire and hold them there with a ratchet strap.

I have a used the deck over goose for a while. Mine is taller than I think most are. Not a big deal. Long ramps fix the low car issue if needed. Jeeps have no issues. Once you are towing 10k+ trailers, I dont know that wind matters much :)
