After reading Brian P's thread, I though I'd add this one. I've always wanted to throw some gear on the back of my dirtbike and ride some trails and then camp wherever I end up. Anybody done this much? Anybody want to? I'll be ripping apart my bike soon to fix the tranny and I'm planning on doing this at some point this summer. AF Canyon is definitely on the list to start with since it's in our backyard.... Since my bike is now street legal, I'd like to maybe ride AF canyon, stay the night, then cruise into Midway for food/fuel and maybe head into the mountains on the other side of heber for another night.....somethin' like that. This would be mostly trails with a little highway where needed instead of the other way around like Brian P is doing....thoughts?

I've done some dual sport / camping rides, love it! I do like having a shower at the end of the day, hate sleeping dirty... so I usually do what I can to accommodate that, but not always.
