Disk brake conversion

I put a corp 14 bolt in the rear and did a disk brake conversion. Since then my brakes suck. I have bled them several times, no air in the lines, I ditched the proportioning valve. I have a brand new master cylinder, but it is the stock master cylinder that comes on a 94 YJ. Should I get a different master cylinder? Do I need a master cylinder that was made for 4 wheel disc? My brakes work, I just don't have any pedal.

Your master cylinder doesn't have enough volume for those big calipers. I swapped mine out and made a huge difference. It has been too long since I did it and I don't recall which one I used. Someone will pipe in and tell ya.

I don't know about your front axle, i'm assuming it is a 60? I just put 60's under my TJ with discs all the way around. I used a dodge 2500 mc. works great. and it bolted right up to my stock booster. i dunno about a YJ for sure though. I hear that mid to late 70's lincoln continental mc's work good for a YJ and will bolt right to the booster.
