Dixie National Forest is publishing a new Motorized Travel Plan. The Plan will be finalized and made official in September of 2007. The public comment period is only open until January 31st!
The Planning Team for the Dixie NF has been very mindful of the desires of off-road users, but some 4x4 roads are planned to be closed while others are being changed to "ATV Only" designation.
Please take a moment and email a comment to the Travel Management Planning Team on this issue. General comments such as, "Please keep 4x4 roads open" are perfectly fine and will have a positive impact. Please include your name and at least your city in the email.
