I added myself to the Do Not Call lists a few years ago and surprisingly it is very rare I get any sort of solicitation type of calls. But lately I have been getting 2-3 per day asking to "vote for me". How do these guys get the special right to annoy me? Is it because they are not selling a product or asking for money?

I don't know, but I find I amazing that they are able to get my home number that I don't even know what it is. I've never used it for anything, yet they call up asking for me...WTF??? So the only way they would ever be able to get that info is from Comcast (who my number is from).

Anything to do with charities and elections are exempt from the do not call registry. I think its bogus, after a dozen calls it makes me want to not vote for them.
