Hey all,
I have a dumb question for you all. My buddy has a '91 Dakota. The front end is tilted to the driver side by an inch or two. I haven't had a chance to take a good look at it, but I'm not sure how his IFS works. (I don't know a whole lot about IFS, just solid axles.) I was expecting either a coil spring in the A-arm, or maybe a strut. All I could see was a shock. I couldn't find springs anywhere (and no, that is how the stock setup is, the springs haven't just fallen out or something). So my question is: what is up with this IFS setup, how does it work, where are the springs? Secondly, what could be causing it to "lean"? maybe a blown shock??? Why can't everything just have solid axles???
