Does Moab ever get boring?

I have been on 99.99999999% of the trails around Logan more than enough times, and am starting to get bored. I remember when it was something special if I even made it up Prov, and now I can almost set a land speed record getting to the top. Basically I just want to try something different and new. My next Moab trip is a ways away, and I was wondering where some good trails are, and what they consist of farther South? I would like to squeeze a trip into a weekend, and would be pushing it if I went farther south than SLC. I'm really looking for something challenging, and make me remember why I spent money on a gear reduction. Any ideas?

I was starting to find moab a little boring. I just don't like trails with loads of driving between obsticles. But there are trails that are more compact with obsticles

The loads of driving between obstacles does suck, but you cant find anything else like it. Worth it in my opinion, even just riding along. Or if you get bored bring a 4wheeler or dirt bike. Old trails become whole new trails

Not sure if you are being serious or not, but if you are......I agree. Doing the same trails over and over again gets boring fast. The bad part is that is what people like to do, the popular trails. Moab can get boring if you only do those.

That's why you buy the books that have all the other trails that you've never done. :)

Ok so I'm not familiar with the trails you are talking about up in the Logan area so I'm not sure what you call challenging. However, I could give you directions to a REALLY good trail in MOAB that would take you a good 3-4 hrs. The entrance is right off a gravel road and is approx 1/4 mile long maybe.

Interested?
We may be taking a trip down there soon as well. When you planning on going?

If you did the same trails in Moab over and over again it would old, but I don't get down there enough to do that. One other place you may want to try is the Hammers in Johnson Valley CA, and the trails in Montrose CO.

I used to spend about 10 to 12 weekends a summer in Moab... If not more. It Never got boring.

Now that I live further away and have only seen Moab once this year, I am really anxious to get back all the time.

We average 10-12 long weekends in Moab a year and it is most definitely NOT boring. Sure, running the same 3 trails would get old, but there is so much there, especially off the beaten path!

The two times I have been to Moab I had an absolute blast. I really want to try Pritchett this fall (hopefully I can get the time off). I will admitt the long stretches like the gap between Poison Spider and Golden Spike get boring expecially since my radio broke and I was riding solo  But the good stuff more than makes up for it. I was just wondering if there is anything around say Ogden or Kaysville to try out in the meantime? The trails around here are getting old and my Moab trip is still so far away :-\ .
Oh by the way why not plan an RME Moab or somewhere else trip? something to think about anyway :D

Myself and a small group will be ariving on Monday (labor day), then playing the rest of the week. If this fit's anyone's schedule, look me up! Oh, and wave while I'm headed down HWY6 as you're heading back to work... :)

If anyone wants to extend their weekend or come in late, just give me a shout (plus, everythings cheaper after labor day).
