Well with the game starting at 7pm they had to leave early to make it home in time for curfew. lol..

I can not wait to hear the excuses as to why this one was lost..

Forgot to wash Vaseline off hands. Or thought Vaseline was stickum.
Game was too early in the year they were not prepared.
The church says we should not be selfish so they felt they had to give the ball away every time they got it.

No excuses. Byu played their worst game ever. And Utah was more prepared and took advantage of the 7 turnovers. Byu just quit at half time.

It was pretty sad that as a fan we could sit in the stands and know what play byu was going to run before the snap. They have gotten to predictable and conservative. Nice job utes.

x2 what Bear said. I still think the Utes need a quarterback and it is obvious that BYU does as well as a offensive coach. Maybe just another example of you need good players to play a good game.

I'm glad the U won, but I wasn't overly impressed... The defense did well, the offense on the other hand couldn't do a thing until BYU gave up...

On the other hand I hope the Aggies take it to BYU in two weeks :D

I'm not really a fan of either team, but the Y gave that game to the U. The U didn't look good at all on the field, the Y just looked (and played) worse. I don't think the U earned really any of their points.

I'm not a sports guy, but I was rooting for the Y. No doubt, that was total domination. What a major disappointment. I'd prefer a good game over a slaughter (regardless of who wins).

Question for the U fans. Was it fun to watch? I imagine it was pretty exciting. My favorite games are the nail-biters that come down to the last minute or two.

It was "interesting". Just not what I expected at all. The teams seem (still) fairly evenly matched going into the game. I didn't think the beat down would be that large from either team. I figure the game had about a 60% chance of being tight to the end, a 10% chance of being a blowout (either way--Jake Heaps has some excellent skills) and the last 20% would be either team winning by something like 24-10, 28-7 or something?

I really expected a lot more out of BYU. 7 turnovers, though. Not sure what's up with that.

This was from an article before the game. I wonder how this is helping them get over that loss against Texas...?

Moments after Heaps threw two interceptions and moved the offense for just 67 yards in the second half of the 17-16 loss at Texas, the sophomore said Saturday’s rivalry game “is actually exactly what we need at this point. It is the perfect remedy to get over this loss.”

Remember, this is just a game. Will not mean much except to a few individuals in the scheme of life. Also remember what some Russian said, "Sports is the opiate of the masses.
