Draw Results 2017

After 16 years, I finally drew for a LE ML Elk tag. Not sure of the area yet, but my debit card was hit for 285 yesterday. It will either be Wasatch or Manti La Sal. Yay!!

I either got book cliffs early elk or my 13 yr old boy got a diamond elk. Both were long shots. And between my wife, me, and the boy we picked up 2 general deer. Pretty good year for us.

I haven't seen anything on deer yet. Kinda makes me nervous.

I Drew out for the Wasatch Unit for my ML Elk. Unsuccessful for Rifle deer this year. first time in 26 years!!

I got my rifle deer successful notification today. Didn't draw last year, glad I did this year!

General season deer (back to NE). No luck on moose or limited entry deer.

Now time to get my Wyoming application in.

My wife and I both drew out general season deer. Nothing LE though.

Both my boys and I drew out for general rifle deer, no LE for us, we are stuck in a big group with the same amount of points and it will take a couple more years i am sure.

First time in 32 years no general season deer tag and again no moose tag with 22 points also no limited entry deer tag ruff year this year!!

My daugter and I both got our dedicated hunter for the Zion unit.

I'll also add this because I can't remember if I posted it or not... Last year my then 16 year old daughter drew the youth Elk hunt and shot this with her 25/06 @ 200 yards!



It happened super fast and she shot it freehand! I almost crapped myself when it dropped on her first shot
