Do you shed shoes while driving, for comfort or any other reason?

I'm a barefoot driver when the distance is long enough to have just cause for cruise control... also when driving with "flip flops." Just seems scary to keep them on

I grew up behind a lumber yard and had so many tetnus shots from stepping on nails that I have to wear shoes anymore... but on long drives I take them off (still have socks on) and sit indian style in the seat otherwise they stay on....

Flip flops are killing peoples feet... I noticed a lady that wears them all year long and all her toes are curled up now from holding her flipflops on... she can't even uncurl them anymore....

I heart flip flops. :chris: In fact, I heart them so much, that I wear them mostly year round.

And in flip flops defense, I must say, I'm sure I'm a better driver in those than in high heels. It's hard to make good contact with the pedals whilst wearing stillettos. But I'm a vain girl so fashion always comes before function! :D

I shed the shoes on long drives. I get restless feet syndrome when I go for more than an hour. I love cruise control.

Ahhh, the good old days when we wore rubbers and thongs on our feet and no where else.
