Have you looked at the HTC Touch line? I'm currently playing with an AT&T Fuze (Touch Pro) it's a bit dated to what is out currently with all the carriers.

HTC makes one of the new Droid devices.

Benjy, did you get the Motorola?

Jailbroken iPhone on T-mobile. Best of all worlds! :D
Verizon's coverage cannot be beat. Despite their sometimes unethical customer service, they have the best coverage in the nation in my experience. I'm not sold on the droid yet though...I have finger-farked is a few times in the stores but i'm still waiting for a few buddies of mine to put it through its paces.

Just found out this evening that my 61-year-old dad picked up the Droid this afternoon.

He was able to use Google Maps (with turn-by-turn directions only on the Droid) to navigate all by himself.

I did, with the 2.0 operating system. Its pretty nice, but I have access to the internet anywhere I go except while I'm driving...

Am I reading this right? No internet access while driving?

I was looking at the new Droid while at the Verizon store the other night... thinking hard about making it my next phone and my first smartphone. Up until now I've had all ghetto phones.
