Drop hitch

It has come to my attention that I need a 12 inch drop hitch for my truck. I have googled this particular item and spent the last 45 minutes searching the internet. No luck, turns out they are elusive little buggers. I am now cranky and have a headache. So, does anyone know where I could get a 12 inch drop hitch?

Thank you! :)

State trailer Supply. They have about the best selection I've seen, but I don't know if a 12" drop is legal.

smaller tires on the truck and bigger ones on the trailer.... helps equalize things out... seems I have only seen 10 inch as the biggest drops... anything else would just be scary... I have seen people with big drops that have bends in them due to no support....

The one Meat mentioned would be my pick.... but here are pictures of the one I have... you can get the back plate in longer drops...

Maybe you need smaller tires....

Well, that is just silly talk right there.

I already looked at the "best hitch" place and they only go up to a 10 inch. There's multiple issues here, but the main reason I'm shopping for a new hitch is because my trailer is a freakin' low rider. The option to buy bigger tires is on the table, but I subscribe to the "kiss" method and therefore a new hitch seemed easiest at this moment. I found one place that had up to a 16 inch drop, but they were all out of stock. I'll check that State Trailer Supply and see where that gets me.

Actually in this case bigger trailer tires would be the KISS method, surviving a 12" drop hitch is NOT simple. If you absolutely HAVE to go 12" I would get a receiver like Shawn has on his dually and buy a 10" Quickdraw..... that would most defiantly be the best option and the most expensive.

As stated, the bigger tire option is on the table. Here's the problem though: I have a two brand new tires coming my way that are the current scrawny size. Since Lucy the gooseneck is down with her broken axle, Chris is using my trailer to haul Horatio around and cannot be without a spare. No concrete decisions have been made yet partly because the discovery of trailer issues out the kazoo was made just last night. I'm currently viewing all of my options. :)
What kind of trailer are we talking here?
Just a plain Jane 16 foot flatbed trailer. Nothing too spectacular, unfortunately.
