My new triangulated 4 link works awesome! The only problem I have with it is my shocks. I want to get coilovers someday but not until my coil springs are shot and I dont have the cash for them right now.

I originally just put one procomp explorer on each side. Its just to soft. I hit a bump and dang near bottom out. I have 2 more shocks that are the same that Im in the process of putting on so I will be trying the dual shock first.

Just wanted to know if anyone has had this same kind of problem and what helped the most. I was just about to order the Rancho 9000 reservoirs but at 219 each.......WOW. I figured I would try what I have first.

Any stories or advice???

A reservoir shock won't help with the dampining, the will give you better cooling, which you won't have any issues with on a crawler. Try a set of Bilstein 5125 or 5150s with a 255/70 valve stack. Mono tube shocks work better than a duel tube shock (ie Rancho, Pro Comp,) The size of the Mono Tube body is the size of the piston inside (better dampening and rebound control). The Dual tube shock is has another body inside which is roughly half the diameter of the overall body. If an off the shelf Bilstein isn't enough, go with a 7100 or Fox 2.0 with custom valving. Also a shock with a Nitrogen schrader valve with or with out a remote res. can be fine tuned by adding or removing gas pressure.
