easy trails near orem?

does anyone know of any easy trails around the utah valley area that you could run in a stock tj? I've seen some trails on the side of the mountain right there and up the provo canyon but I don't know if there legal or how to get to them. I'm going to be out in utah visiting my girlfriend this week but I imagine its still going to be too snowy for a stock tj but maybe this spring I would like to get out on some trails
 
Right now there is a ton of snow. You will be hard pressed to find something that is open and accessible for a stock rig.

You can run out to Little Moab and tool around. Nice thing about that it is not a trail but a mound of obstacles. You can make it easy or hard as you want.
 
American fork canyon is fun, doesn't open until mayish...

East bench of provo is restricted from motor vehicle access
 
Everything on the east bench from American Fork Canyon to Spanish Fork Canyon is closed. I got a trespassing ticket a few years ago in Pleasant Grove. That pretty much limits you to AF Canyon, Little Moab, and 5 Mile Pass out towards Tooele.
 
alright thanks, I've got Little Moab in google earth but I don't really know where the american fork canyon trail is or 5 mile pass.

what about the snakes? how built do you have to be to run them?
 
The snakes are at 5 mile. Depending on how much snow there is you could try rattlesnake. But don't do it alone. You can run around the rest of 5 mile in the muck and be okay.

AF canyon is closed for a few months.
