anyway I think your racist claim is off the mark, and uncharacteristically so.

I could be wrong.....I could be right.

My buddy attended a teabagger townhall meeting with orin hatch a few weeks ago. the comments he overheard were quite racist in nature. I remember some of those same comments being posted here on election night. Hell, pirate had posts advocating dragging obama behind a truck. If you think racism in america is dead, i would say you are quite wrong.

The conservatives have found every way possible to pick him apart and question his integrity on a personal level. Everything short of saying..........but, he's black!! I would have more respect for them if they did.

Let the road rise with you, brother. :D

I dont' think racism is dead in America by a long shot, I just disagree that it's what is fueling most of the objection to Obama.

For my part, I've been consistent in saying that he lacks experience of any kind, and that he shouldn't have ever made it to the primaries. I don't feel any different now, I don't care that he's black.

First of all, why is it if I disagree with the POTUS, I'm racial!???! That's a cop out comment and those type of comments are what keeps the country divided over skin color. I don't give a flying fawk if he is white, black, green, gray, or clear - as a president, he has no clue and he's doing more harm to this country than good. THAT is why I dislake Obama.

And as for him being a terrorist, he is. Just not in the Bin Laden sense... But he is weakening our infrustructure, giving away 'secrets' and making us vulnerable for attack.

And as for the patriot act, wasn't that the senate that voted that in, and NOT Bush? Seems like all of the bitching going on about Bush were issues from the senate - the same senate that is in place right now! The senate ordered us to invade Iraq, not Bush. The president doesn't have that control, the senate does.

If Obama wanted to try to suceed at being the POTUS, he'd drop his healthcare, stop campaigning already and go to work trying to put people back to work. Instead he ignores the actual issues going on right now, as America collapses around him, just to get his healthcare passed and travel! In the past 15 months, I bet he's only been in the White House 20 days, the rest of the time he's been on the road campaigning.

Tacoma, I'm with you and we needed a "none of the above" in the last presidential election. Time will tell just where everyone stands and whether or not our constitution will be upheld. The President only suggests a budget congress is where it becomes law.

I agree, too... McCain wasn't the right guy for the job, either, but he was definately the lesser of the two evils. Seems that's all we get anymore, lesser of two evils... :(

My uncle is a die hard conservative NRA member who really liked libertarian candidate harry brown. When I asked why he wasn't voting for him he replied that "he didnt want to throw his vote away":-\

he voted for bush twice.

I voted for Bob Barr, just to give the statisticians something to do. :D

I voted for perot in 92' because he was clearly insane, and had a bone to pick with the bush family (airport). After their campaign failed miserably, I used to tell my conservative friends "you're welcome" for clinton to feel better:p

In 00 i voted for nader and my conservative friends told me "thank you" for bush........

I agree, and that's why I voted for Bush the second time. Kerry/Edwards are dirtbags.

I too voted for Nader in 00 and my dad thought I was nuts.

But even though I'm not a huge fan of Bush, I think he got the bad end of the deal and doesn't desserve most of the finger pointing he has/is receiving. IMO the congress/house and Chaney are the cause, not Bush.
