I am new to the sport of off-roading and am loving every minute of it. But I am learning one lesson really quick: STUFF BREAKS. It seems on the half the outings I go on, I break something. C'est la vie. Well, I'm trying to find some kind of resource which would help educate me on which parts of the jeep are which. Does anyone know of a manual or online resource which will help me to identify parts and know if something is wrong so I can fix it myself, ro at least know the name ofthe parts so I can find a replacement?

For example: The control bar which runs horizontally in front of my front axle appears to be bent. I don't know the name of this bar, or where I may find a replacement for a good price. It's not the track bar, the slightly bent adjustable one behind and above it. It's the perfectly level horizontal one directly in front of the axle, the lowest bar in front. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be straight, and mine is definitely not, resulting in misaligned wheels. I don't want to drive it around until I know for sure and fix it. It is now painfully obvious that I am very new to all this, but we all have to start sometime right?

Any help would be appreciated!

go to checker or autozone and pick up a chilton or haynes manual for your vehicle. Cost about $20 but it is worth it. :)

Tie Rod :)

The Haynes Manual is alright or ideally a Factory Service Manual from the dealer, but they are pricy.
