Hey everybody...
In the anti-4WD businesses in Moab thread on Pirate4x4.com, the idea of a "on behalf of the 4WD community, thank you for hosting us and EJS" full page advertisement was brought up to advertise in the Moab Times. Each year EJS brings thousands of visitors and while it is a good source of revenue for the town and its tourism industry, it also brings huge burden and to many, unwanted nusance. We are also NOT going to slander any businesses related to that thread as THEY DID NOT ENDORSE AN ANTI-4WD LOBBY.
On behalf of the Utah 4WD Association and anyone interested, we would like to take a full-page ad in the Moab Times thanking Moab for their wonderful hospitality. The cost of this ad is just under $760.00. I have created an email address specifically for this project. Please paypal your donation to:

We would like to see each contribution of somewhere between $15 and $20 but any amount will do, even if it is $2. A list of contributors will be posted later in this thread. If you do not want your username listed please PM me or send an email to ejsadfund@collegeinternetsolutions.com. Persons or businesses who contribute more than $50 will be eligable for a "Silver Star" Contribution in that they can have their name highlighted and possibly a logo affixed to the ad. The ad will read, however, "paid for by indivual 4WD enthusiasts" to be clear that this is from the people, not companies though they may endorse it.
We will accept donations for 5 days with donations ending Monday Morning, April 4, at 8AM when I will send copy and print to The Moab Times. I am also going to attempt to argue for a lesser rate from the Moab Times as it is for a good cause. Any remaining funds will donated to the Utah 4WD Association which is a huge supporter of land use in Utah. If we have enough money to run it twice, we will.
If anyone is interested in volunteering to do the artwork let me know. Otherwise I will do it myself. If people would be willing to post this message on various boards, that would be awesome to help spread the word. Thank you... Greg or whoever, if you would be willing to make this a sticky, that would awesome as well.
