Engine dies when I apply the brakes

Way over my knowledge base for electrical!!

All the more reason for a trip to Moab.

Vss is vehicle speed sensor. But if the rig has ran fine for a while this is may not be the problem. How long have you been using this engine set up? And it worked well that whole time, up until now?

The drivtrain was set up by the previous owner, actually the son of Randy at Advanced 4-Wheel Drive, and I've had now for over 5 years. No other real engine issues before.

Ok it is tbi so your problem is not going to be the fuel pressure regulator. So with out seeing the jeep i am going too be no more help. If you want to bring it to richfield i would be more than happy to help. (I would just come to Moab but school has me lacking in the funds to travel. LOL)

PROBLEM FIXED!!

After looking at it briefly, and realizing I just didn't have enough time or knowledge base to mess with it, I took it into the shop and had them deal with it. I have wanted to install some LED taillights anyway so figured this would be the time anyway.

So the problem all along had nothing to do with vacuum pressure, or my tail lights, or my hard hit on Kenny's Climb. But rather it was my trailer wiring. The wires were broken and corroded and were shorting out on the body. I never would have thought of checking that!!

All good now, running fine, and all new LEDs!! Now at least, I have my back-up vehicle for Safari running, hopefully I can get the CJ going now, wish me luck on that too!!
