engine dyno in close to layton? where how much to do it?

My buddys machine shop just got an engine dyno, but they wont have it set up for a while. Ive seen estimates anywhere from $400-$700 for a few pulls and tuning.

na, just want to know. my 302 is only pulling 230hp and the 79 Windsor came with 50 more stock, so no matter what its pushing out, its better.

but for that price i could tair down the hole motor, get the numbers i need and put it all back together. pass on that.

If you're actually getting anything like 230-280hp out of either of those engines, I'd be surprised and happy.

should be. what ford says the HP numbers are for the years of the motors. pulse the Windsor is built up a little bit.

What do you consider built up a little bit? Intake, carb and manifold?

its board 30 over, speed pro flat top pistons, crane roller rockers,crane double roller timing chain,HV oil pump,ARP bolts,and the after market cam.

oh oh, cant forget the edlebrock carb and manifold.
