Ephriam canyon to Orangeville?

Has anyone been up on skyline drive yet?
I need to know if there's any snow left that would make the road impassable.

Were going up Ephriam and over the top towards Joes valley res. (Grassy lake to be exact.)

I should have asked ealier as were going up there wed evening.

We were going to try and do a similar route last weekend... I called the rangers office and they said it was still blocked by snow on some of the steep snow drifts. Another week or two according to the gal I talked too...

I went by the Orangeville turnoff on skyline drive on the 16th. There was no snow at all. The Snow drifts are south of Ephraim Canyon near Snow's lake.

I think that will save me atleast $40 in fuel.

Kristi and I are going up on the 4th to run from Tucker to either Pleasant Creek canyon, Spring creek canyon or Ephriam canyon, which ever we can get too. I let you guys know what we find.

South Skyline Drive from Fairview Cyn was closed due to construction this past weekend. They had a large earthmover blocking the road with closed signs all over.

I drove up ephraim canyon last week in my grand cherokee with my wife and seen a bear up there for the first time. It ran across the road in front of us and dissapeared into the woods.. my wife and I were both extremely suprised after only seeing tracks of them all our lives up there.

the road up ephraim has recently been widened and is now probably the smoothest canyon to run up other than Fairview which is paved, we got to the top and headed south were the snow was drifted over at snow lake on the manti side. then we rode up to the horseshoe and looked off. very little snow left.
