What do you guys think about the axles that Walker Evans and they guys from Nielson's Racing have on thier rigs?

I can see definate advantages to running this style of axles, but what disadvantages?

.....Nelsons rig is VERY well designed.....the offsets definetly help....there is more tricks to that rig though.......but I promised not to tell......however Walkers I think was just made to work...(with what was existing)...it is a great improvement and I think it will get better when they have more time.....IMHO..... :D

well one disadvantage to the design is that you now have a super long shaft...meaning it is more likely to twist and break...with that said though I know walker hasn;t busted yet and I dont think tiny has either...I may be wrong though;)

another disadvantage is that for MOST setups you end up with a way crocked driveshaft like walkers since atlas doesn;t make a offset rear output and most t-cases are centered...

Actually this would apply to the short shaft, the long side will be able to absorb more twist then the short side, thus causing it to break. but your right on the fact that it is better to have two equal length shafts to have the best strength equillibrium.
