Hmmm, wonder where the rest of the vids are? That's the same trip Cody and I are talking about--you can see my buggy parked at the top of the hill right in front of Braden.

I think this is the thread, pics are still there.- http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?t=13334

One of my favorite pics of all time-

I have a few videos from that trip, but none of Cody or you. :(

Aha! No video, but here's a picture of me in the Big Hot Tub. Good view of how much taller that climb is, as compared to Mickey's:

*sniff* Maybe it's just that I have no wheelable rigs right now, but I miss the ol' YJ. That rig really worked well.

Is there water or any other weight in the tires of the buggy in this video?

Just seems like those tires stick reeallly well:cool:

Those are comp compound Maxxis Creepy Crawlers. They did stick reeeally well. At some point I did experiment with water in the front tires only a little, but I don't remember if there is water at this point or not. I only ever put water up to the bottom of the rim, so I doubt if it ever made much of a difference. It did make the thing unpossible to control above about 45 MPH though...

Has anybody ever seen a full-bodied, TJ wheelbase vehicle make the Big Hot Tub? I've made Mickey's, but don't think I have the gonads to try the big 'un.

those are some great pics! a couple of those realy give you a good feel of how steep & deep that thing realy is. & I dont know if you can really consider the oily slury in the bottom of that thing watter. mickeys, is a fun hole to play in, but to me just doesnt compare to the big one. Ive been in the big one a couple of times, I felt like I needed a little more motor.

I was just in moab last weekend and did the big hot tub. there was a little bit of water in the bottom of it, and it gave me all that I could handle I just about didn't make it. I had to put the hammer down.
The only way to know if your jeep could do it is to give it a try. I didn't make it in my last jeep with 98" wheel base.
