Can anyone in here do some work on my 05 tacoma? It needs a few things fixed. A right front wheel bearing, also a left side cv boot. Serp belt, spark plugs. Let me know if anyone can help me out. Thanks.

do you not have the tools to get started?
I have a press avalible if you need it for the front bearing.

On things that I don't want to deal with I take them to Clay at the tire pro on 2990 south State Street, the have a complete automotive shop in addition to tires.

They just did the ball joints on my CTD. Great rates, quality work, easy to deal with.

I have a great mechanic in orem who will do it. Google Dougs auto And read the reviews. There are cheaper mechanics out there, but not by much and most are nowhere near as skilled and honest as Doug.

Sixstates in orem Does a great job too.

Semi-old thread... but I needed a good Orem mechanic that would install my timing belt kit I had already bought ~4 months ago thinking I'd do it myself. I called a few of my regular guys and none of them would install any parts I had already bought citing insurance reasons or just a policy they have...and they mentioned some other parts brands they prefer to use for their timing belt kits (I didn't hear anything that sounded OEM toyota....) So anyway, I found this thread and called up Dougs in Orem and they said no problem. Scheduled me in for a few days down the road and hooked me up with a fair deal for the time and work they did. I would definitely recommend them as well.

What'd that run you? The Wiferunner is ready for some timing belt love.

I brought them this timing belt kit that I had bought on ebay months ago (these kits are well known in the online world for being legit toyota parts) plus plugs and wires i got at the dealer. So parts alone cost me ~$350 or so (don't remember how much the plugs/wires were...). I don't wanna post a price for Dougs as I don't know what exactly their rate is...it was a good chunk of change and on par with other decent shops (not the cheapest deal, but not the dealer price) that I would have loved to buy a new accessory or two with, but I feel my Taco needed the timing belt done and I wasn't going to have time (or space) at the moment to do it on my own.

Honestly, my first experience with them, but they seemed like great people and even went overboard to help me get my truck after their business hours.
