Toyota fj40 is this to tall

I did a SOA with shackle reversal on my 1970 fj40 and I have about 30 inches of clearance from the top of my hub to the bottom of my fender is this about right for a SOA. I was told that the springs that came with the axles were stock . not so sure now

plus what counts a bit is the actual clearance under the diff's. the lift assists with approach and departure angles.
Sounds tall to me as well.

leaf springs to tend to settle over time. I am not a fan of overly tall trail vehicles. I would rather cut body work than life a truck to high. uploading pictures when you post is easy...did we disable that feature for noobs?

That's actually a pair of 1-ton axles in close orbit around an FJ-40...I can see how you would make that mistake...
