Flat Towing w/Atlas 2spd and 700R4 AT

Thanks for everyone's help. Here's what I found out from AA: For the short runs I'm doing, there's no need to remove the driveshafts, so putting the tranny in park will be fine. If you're flat towing hundreds of miles, they recommend removing driveshafts.

Just in case this is helpful to anyone else, I flat-towed it with the steering unlocked (of course), the trans in park, and the Atlas in neutral and it went well. Thanks again for everyone's help.

Did you happen to touch the case to see if it was hot after towing? That would let you know for sure.

I once flat towed a Jeep with a D300 (does not self oil) without disconnecting the drive shaft. Only 5 miles at 35 mph or less, and that case was hot as hell.
