Been swapping a 22RE into my samurai using the full donor 88 runner wiring harness and I'm just about finished.I had plan's on using the full heating parts from the toyota but decided it would be way too much work to get it all to fit.

Needing heat for next winter and I dont want to use the samurai heater, just for the fact-it just plain suck's!...Anyone ever used the flex-a-lite mojave heater's in their rig's? Needing some heat for next winter and thought the compact size along with using the defrost box would be perfect to warm the cab of the zuk.

Thank's:)

I am using the Summit Racing Mojave heater, which is similar to the Flex-A-Lite, but a little cheaper. It also puts out more CFM and BTU's. It puts out a lot of heat.

I looked at summit last night at these. Can these also be run to the vent's? did not see anything about it but I'm sure something could be made to...I like that it put's out more CFM and BTU's so I will probably go with it.

I'm not running any vents, but it probably wouldn't be too hard to fab up some kind of ducts off one of the outlets on the heater.

I'm running the summit in the troll. Cheaper the the Mojave and like said, it kicks out more heat. They have two 3" ports on the front. Like Jeff said, you could build duct work for defrost.

I am putting one in my rig in the next couple weeks. I have hooked up power to try the fan and it blows really good!! Can wait to try it out!! I do have an extra piece the is used for defrosters. It's just sold separately....

Mike, do you remember seeing the heater in my Scout? It was surplus from Smith & Edwards - found a small mountain of them out back, picked one that looked OK, bobbed it a bunch and stuffed it in. Works great and was cheap, like about $25. Pop over and have a look if you want.
