After many years of good service my floor jack just don't wana get it up any more :(

Anyone use one of those Harbor Freight jobs? There is one on sale for $59.00 but I'm always leery of HF.

i have one of the harbor freight jacks for about five years now and never had any problems with it. but my brothers have nothing but problems with thiers. taking it back for a new one, or replacing seals, or the handle wont turn to release the jack. but mine works great. :D

this is what I was a fraid of. And ya, HF tools are very inconsistant, some times you get good ones, some times you don't...

I've had my HF jack for close to 6 years I think and it still works great...haven't even had to add any hydraulic to it yet. But yes sometimes HF is a roll of the dice.

I got mine from checker for about that same price and it has worked well going on about 4 years now.
I got mine from Checker, came with a couple of jackstands too. I believe it raises to 19" or so, it's a fairly large jack and it's working perfectly after 4 years of use. I think I paid $80 for it.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess what I'm looking for is a big ass floor jack. It would be nice to have one the lifts higher than the normal 21" range yet not break the bank,,,, ya know...?

rusted, that's a weeny jack. Small, like.

Ditto, I carry that same one in my Suburban. Works good for changing a flat tire on the side of the road but nothing in a garage.

Costco usually has a nice one, 3.5 ton lifting capacity or so. I've got one, and like it.....
