Flywheel from an auto to a manual

OK,
Need some help here.

I'm going to be putting the 401 in front on a T-18 (manual) tranny. The 401 was originally in front of a TH400 (auto) tranny. I need to know what I have to do to make it compatable with a manual tranny?

Do I need a different flywheel? What else do I need to consider?
Thanks for any help/tips/tricks/advise!

I'm doing the same conversion with my tow rig.
You need a flywheel, the auto has a flex plate.
And you will need to install a pilot bearing in the back of you crank.

The rest should normal, pressure plate, clutch, throw out bearing, ect.

Oh,,, one more thing,, you auto will be longer than the manual, so you may need to lenthen the drive shaft and relocated the trany support.

Thanks! I need to find a Flywheel for a 401 (I guess I can get a flywheel for a 360 rebalanced to match the 401 too).

The manual trans is already in the Jeep. I'm installing the 401 so I shouldn't have to relocate the tranny mount. I'm doing a lift at the same time so driveshafts have already been taken into account but it's good advise nonetheless.

Thanks!

4 Wheel Drive Hardware has a very nice flywheel for the 401 for 249.95
part# 401f

I have the 360 flywheel in my CJ.
