Selling this 1994 Isuzu Amigo, 4WD, Manual Trans (5-spd) and a NEW SOFT-TOP.
This has been my son's buggy to take himself and his buddies snowboarding for the last couple of winters. He is now on a mission, and it's time to sell it.
For any that don't know much about these, this is a first-gen, based on a shortened Rodeo platform. The best part about these was the removable top in the rear. It's really a hoot to drive.
The car runs well, passes emissions and safety inspections just fine. It's running 32x11.5 tires, which has made it a lot of fun in the summer for cow-trailing, etc. You'll see mounting holes on the fenders for mirrors that my son would install in the summer, so he could remove the doors and drive around with no top and no doors.
It has plenty of power to get up the canyons with 4 guys and their snowboard gear, and gets good gas mileage around town. This one is equipped with the "Aisin" hubs, which are very desirable in the 4-wheelin' community. A Brand New soft-top last year is still in excellent condition, and the seat covers are recent and look good.
The Body is rough. It has its share of dents, scrapes, bends and some heavy rust on one of the doors. And it leaks oil. Not enough that we ever fixed it, (though I did buy the gasket, and you can have it.) Follow the link above to see photos.
There aren't enough of these out there to really determine a true market value. All I can do is base the price on what I've seen occasionally, and what I paid for it 3 years ago. I'd like to get $1800 out of it, but I will entertain serious offers.
