SOLD

Have some other priorities for my truck and home and haven't ended up being able to use this much. I spent two nights in it: one in a drive-up campsite, one in my driveway.

I bought it from sixstringsteve who bought it new. Here's the text from his for sale ad: "Selling my Rooftop Tent. 6 months old, the newest model that ARB sells with all the latest improvements (Simpson III C 2). I've spent about 15 nights in it. I love this RTT and its convenience, but I'm getting into backpacking and I'm selling this to fund some backpacking gear."

I'm not sure if the "newest/latest" model statement still holds true as it's been over a year since it was new....

Anyway, total this thing is a year and a bit old, and seen about 17 nights of usage. It's currently in storage and has been there since right after the first snowstorm a few months ago. The cover has def seen some use and has a few minor issues, but still does what it needs to do, and the tent itself is in great condition.

I'm keeping the tent rack.

Bump for a great tent that's sure to make someone's wife and kids VERY happy. My neighbors went camping with me in it once, and they were crushed when I sold it.

I will once the deal is complete tomorrow. Hint: I'm driving to Colorado in the morning to get it...

Aww snap.

Thank you so much for buying that, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure a way to talk my wife into letting me have that truck. :D

So here's the current deal on my tent:

I had pretty much stopped worrying about trying to sell it. But, I guess i would sell it, but after talking to the wife, she doesn't really want me to sell it. So what we came up with is this: i don't really use it and wont be able to use it for a while still, so if I can get it sold for what I paid, then i could do it. I paid $1200. Used it only twice. I know its lame to jack the price back up but I think its still a fair price, and I don't really want or need to sell it.
