i just bought an 04 ford power stroke, it has a key pad on the door to unlock it. the question i have is, is there any way to reset the pass code? reason being is i have no idea what it is.

I know on some of the cars with them they had a sticker in the trunk with it. So maybe somewhere ounder the hood or door jam.

You have to go to the dealer or get a notebook and try every 5 number combo you can think of. Good luck with that!

Okay, saw a Tow guy open one at my last dealership jub, asked how he knew the code, and he said.... what you quoted.

went to the dealer and they ran there comp on it and was able to pull the code. thanks guys

I work at a dealer and I get a kick out of charging people forty bucks to tell them what the code is.

I got mine done for free by the dealer and no its not the last 4 of the vin

As a mechanic, it's getting harder and harder to make people believe that I'm an honest guy and wont screw them because they've been screwed by others before. Thanks for helping us out.
